Eric Scrivner, like most of our protégées, has been programming since the old age of 12. At first, he started with C++ and QBasic making simple games like any other adolescent before he got into the emulator scene at age 16. Due to his vast skill, Eric gained all the notoriety of a C-list celebrity for a project called NeoSPU2. His ability to absorb information like a sponge landed him a spot at the University of California, Riverside where he graduated with a BS in Computer Science this year.
Travel, being one of the many hobbies of Level2Designs employees, led him to Madrid where he worked and lived. While in Spain, Eric worked for a social networking startup (herizio.com) when he was only 20.
After being abroad he decided to come home to the states and leave the web development scene. It was a hard depart for Eric who had been in web development since he was 18. Always the over-achiever, he decided to do research in Bio-inspired Artificial Intelligence at UC Riverside-specifically genetic algorithms and genetic programming. But alas, he missed the enjoyment of working with cutting edge technologies and real world problems so he found his way to Level2.
