Too often when we visit a website we are bombarded with clutter. We go to a website in search of something specific and instead we are bombarded with ads, colors, text, things flying around the screen, and those ever annoying popups. For some reason pages tend to get stuffed with content, even if irrelevant to the overall purpose of the site. Other pages try to impress with fancy graphics or animations, which are nice if used intelligently, however overuse of effects and animations is easy to fall into.
