This is a quick, easy tutorial for creating a glowing reflection with Adobe Photoshop. There are different ways of accomplishing the effect, and you can obviously take it much further than the design I have created.

Start by creating a medium sized canvas. I used 400x163 for my final crop. (Always create the canvas bigger to ensure you have space to work and to help visualize the design better. Type any text at any font. I used Bebas (Use caps to make your life easier.)

Click on the text while holding down "alt" to make a copy of it, and drag down while holding shift.

Select the copied text while holding down "cmd+t" ("ctrl + t" on a PC) and choose “Flip Vertical” from the menu.

Align the text so that there is spece between each word.

Click the eraser tool and pick a 300px brush. Note: You will see a warning sign when hovering over it, but click the copied (reflected) text and click ok to the prompt to Rasterize the type layer.

Next take the eraser and hold it below the canvas itself and hold down "Shift". Getting Stroke from left and right keeping the eraser under the canvas until the reflected text fades in the middle.

Select the reflected layer and give it 70% or so Opacity.

Grab a 300px white brush and stroke it with one click behind the lettering. Change the opacity until it looks natural with the reflection and enhances it, not distracting from the reflect effect.

(This next step is optional but will give the reflection a unique perspective effect.)

Now select the layer again with "cmd+t" ("ctrl+t" on PC) and choose perspctive. Drag the text outward until it looks natural with the reflection.

Below is the final product.
