n our society today we all know that technology is growing at a rapidly pace. With all this new technology we are all in this together. Kids know things adults don’t.
Growing research shows that technology can be both beneficial and harmful in the way children think. Children’s minds are still developing and the technology may have an impact that’s giving the initial impression of leaving little to the imagination. Today kids are more immune to running applications and video games than ride a bike or tie their shoes. Research also shows that apps and games are enhancing kid’s ability’s to multitask.
With all these surprising apps, video games and high-tech toys I believe kids can benefit from interacting with technology. Gaining skills playing apps and games which require constant situational awareness and decision making. Making mistakes, observing the consequences and trying new approaches is how we fundamentally learn. Today, to be smart all generations have to discuss together and learn together. We can often count on a child to be stricter than we would be. Don’t restrict, collaborate.
